daniel j kirk, he/him, is a visual artist living and working in Calgary, AB - mohkinstsis (blackfoot), kootsisáw (t'suu t'ina), and wincheeshpah (stony) on Treaty 7 territory.
daniel has been a practicing artist after graduating from the University of Calgary's BFA program in 2007. His work stems from an interest in people, economy, nature and patterns; resulting in public murals, sculptures and community/social projects.
He is the Director/Founder of Blank Page Studio, a creative space designed to support ideas in the business community of Kensington; he is a father & parent to three children, and a dedicated student of nature. Along with his public arts practice, daniel j kirk and his wife, Tiffany J Harper, are frequent collaborators known as askîy arts collective.
